About Us

Marguerite’s Place has a 30-year legacy of empowering families on their transition from crisis to sustainable independence. Founded by Sisters Sharon Walsh and Elaine Fahey, Marguerite’s Place honors St. Marguerite d’Youville, who dedicated her life to supporting the most vulnerable members of her community. Unique to the service landscape in NH, we provide transitional housing, licensed childcare, and supportive group programming all within one organization. Our approach aims to end cyclical homelessness and poverty, interrupts the impact of trauma on future generations and provides a lasting solution to familial stability.
